Carefree Country Club is located 45 miles from the Twin Cities, near Big Lake.  Drive Interstate 94 northwest to Highway 25 at Monticello.  Turn right onto Highway 25 north.  After crossing the Mississippi River, continue northwest on County Road 11.  When you cross Highway 10, continue north 2 miles, cross a bridge and immediately turn right onto County Road 73.  Continue east until the road turns north.  After a couple of curves, Carefree’s entrance is on your right side.
