- What are the annual dues and what is included?
- The annual dues payable by May 1st, each year, are $2,200. Included are water, sewer, garbage, and unlimited golfing for two shareholders.
- How is Carefree Country Club organized and taxed?
- Carefree Country Club is a 501(c)7 Social Club, exempt from Federal Income Tax. Also, organized under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A. Members (shareholders) join by leasing a lot on which their RV is located. The lot may also include a shed and ALS (additional living space) not to exceed 800 square feet total (RV and ALS).
- What are the regularly scheduled Welcome Center office hours?
- Office hours are 8am to 5pm, 7 days a week during the season of April 15th through October 15th.
- Can my guests use the park amenities?
- Yes. Guests of members are welcome at Carefree Country Club. All members are responsible for ensuring their guests get signed in and paid for when golfing.
- Can a non-member rent a guest lot?
- No. However, Carefree Country Club has 1 designated lot for rent by members for their guests. It is available on a first come basis for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
- What do I need a permit for?
- Permits are required for changes to physical structures on lots and for landscape changes including tree removal/tree trimming.
- What if I want to sell my share of stock at Carefree Country Club?
- Carefree Country Club has a group of volunteers (Resales Committee) that works with members at their request. The Resales Committee phone number is 763-688-3573 for more information.
- Is there an open WIFI network in the park?
- At this time, there is unsecured WIFI access in the Clubhouse. Several vendors provide internet service to member’s lots including Broadband. Members pay for internet service to their lot.
- Are storage lots available?
- Storage lots for RVs, trailers, extra vehicles, etc. are available for rent on an annual basis.
- Are there Carefree Facebook pages?
- Carefree CC Forum is a monitored member-only Facebook page used primarily to sell items within the park and posting member Activities throughout the season. It is not a format used for official communication by the park manager or Board of Directors.
- Can I golf anytime?
- Members and guests can golf anytime other than scheduled tournaments.
